The 2-3 Arkansas Razorbacks are in desperate need of a win after dropping 3 games in a row. The next test for the Razorbacks is the Ole Miss Rebels in Oxford.

It’s still early, but the Razorbacks have gotten off to an impressive start. After forcing a punt on the Rebels’ 1st drive of the game, the Razorbacks got the ball and proceeded to go on a 15-play, 80-yard drive that took just under 8 minutes off the clock.

The drive almost ended before it even started, however. KJ Jefferson rushed the ball and fumbled, but the ball was recovered by the Razorbacks. Jefferson then completed a series of short, chain-moving passes to move the team down the field.

A sack, a false start, and a couple of plays for losses could do nothing to deter the Razorbacks. The drive was eventually capped off by a 3-yard TD pass from Jefferson to Ty Washington. Jefferson went 8/9 for 89 yards with 1 TD on the drive. Washington caught 5 of those passes for 56 yards and also scored the game’s 1st TD.

The Razorbacks will want to establish the run game as the game goes along. However, it’s an encouraging sight to see Jefferson moving the chains with efficient passes.
