The Arkansas Razorbacks are peaking at the perfect time and look like a team that could win the SEC Tournament and make a big run in the NCAA Tournament.

Coming into Friday night, Arkansas had lost eight straight to Florida, including 13 of the last 14. However, the Hogs defeated the Gators 80-72, and they straight man-handled Florida in the second half.

Once again, Jaylen Barford led the Hogs in scoring with 27 points and nine rebounds, with 19 of those points coming in the second half. Freshman Daniel Gafford finished with 16 points and 12 rebounds, including a nasty windmill dunk to end the game.

Florida was led by forward Keith Stone, who finished with 22 points and five rebounds. Guard Chris Chiozza finished with 16 points and six assists.

Arkansas is deep, talented and experienced, and it will be tough for any team to matchup against the Hogs. It wouldn’t surprise anyone at this point if the Hogs win the SEC Tournament.

Arkansas will face Tennessee Saturday at 3:00 p.m. ET.
