The Razorback family finally came to a compromise on the issue of continuing to play games in Little Rock this week as Arkansas is now set to host Missouri in War Memorial Stadium in 2019, 2021, and 2023 and potentially set to host the annual Red & White spring game there in 2020, 2022, and 2024.

The official announcement was made on Thursday in Little Rock. The location of the spring games has not been finalized at this time, as Arkansas needs a waiver from the SEC in order to move its spring game off campus for each of those games.

Arkansas was already scheduled to play Ole Miss in Little Rock in 2018, but no games in War Memorial Stadium were on the books following that contest.

Following the official announcement, Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson issued his support of the decision with the following statement:

“This is great news for Razorback fans and War Memorial Stadium. War Memorial evokes a sense of nostalgia, and many families have great memories of the games they attended there. And for some fans, these games in Little Rock, are their only opportunity to see the Hogs play in person, and maybe their only chance to attend a big-time SEC football game. This gives more people the opportunity to experience the excitement of the Razorback traditions. I commend Chancellor Steinmetz and Athletic Director Yurachek for working with the state for a plan that benefits everyone.”
