Based on the first two commitments for Arkansas in 2019, it’s clear to see how Chad Morris is building up his roster — he plans to build up the trenches for the Razorbacks.
The program landed its second commitment of the 2019 cycle Thursday with the addition of Texas offensive lineman Beaux Limmer. The team’s other 2019 pledge is defensive lineman Trevis Hopper.
The 6-foot-5, 270-pound Limmer rates as a three-star prospect and the nation’s No. 89 offensive tackle by 247Sports Composite Ratings. He visited Fayetteville last weekend during the team’s start to spring practice. His only other SEC offer at this time is Vanderbilt, however, Auburn has begun recruiting him as well.
Limmer broke the news of his commitment to Richard Davenport of Whole Hog Sports. Here’s what Limmer said about Chad Morris and his coaching staff during Davenport’s radio show.
“They were the number one reason I picked them,” Limmer said. “You’re not going to find many coaches like Coach Morris. He’s about the players. Especially in the SEC, you’re not going to find that.”
Limmer later confirmed the news with this tweet:
