With Chad Morris fired, it didn’t take long for one of the players committed to play for him in 2020 to back off their pledge.
Marshall (Texas) WR Savion Williams announced on Sunday that he has decommitted from Arkansas. He shared the news via a note screenshot posted to his Twitter account:
A 3-star prospect, Williams measures at over 6-4, 200 pounds. Williams, who is rated the No. 75 Texas product, No. 99 wide receiver and No. 554 prospect overall on the 247Sports Composite, pledged to the Razorbacks on May 11 after visiting the school a week earlier. He holds 18 scholarship offers, including Missouri.
With Williams in the class, Arkansas’ 2020 class was ranked No. 12 in the SEC and No. 40 nationally on the Composite.
