Arkansas is now without the verbal commitment of Kai Greer as of Tuesday.

Greer is a 4-star offensive tackle out of Waxhaw (N.C.) Marvin Ridge. He is the No. 38 IOL and No. 19 player in North Carolina in the 2024 class. Greer comes in at 6-foot-6, 285 pounds.

Due to the recent coaching changes at Arkansas, Greer decided it was time to move on.

“After evaluating the recent coaching changes at the University of Arkansas as well as talking with Coach Pittman and my family, I have made the difficult decision to decommit,” Greer wrote. “I wish Coach Pittman and the team all the best moving forward.”

The Razorbacks made a change to their coaching staff recently.

The program hired Eric Mateos away from Baylor to be its next offensive line coach. Mateos will be replacing Cody Kennedy, who recruited Greer originally.

While Greer’s no longer committed to Arkansas, he still has SEC offers, however. Texas A&M, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Missouri, and Vanderbilt have all reportedly sent him offers.

Arkansas might not have had a great season, but changes have been made on Sam Pittman’s coaching staff. Bobby Petrino is back in Fayetteville and will be the offensive coordinator this time around.

The Hogs now have a pair of IOL’s verbally committed in 3-star commits Zuri Madison and Kobe Branham.
