Arkansas’ offensive line, you could say has, uh, struggled to protect its quarterback this season.
Razorbacks’ quarterback Austin Allen has been pressured on 45 percent of his 63 pass attempts, according to CFB Film Room. That equates to having defenders in his face on roughly 28 of those plays.
The Hogs have only allowed 11 sacks, however, so props to Allen for making a play on 17 different occasions. Arkansas is No. 12 in the SEC in sacks allowed.
As CFB Film Room point out, Allen has remained pretty accurate despite all the pressure. He’s averaging 9.5 yards per attempt while under pressure (tip passes and throwaways excluded). He’s also completed close to 53 percent of those under-pressure passes, which isn’t all that bad, all things considered.
