Arkansas running back Ja’Quinden Jackson went off in the first half of his Razorback debut. In fact, it took the Utah transfer just 8 carries to log his first game of 100 yards at Arkansas.
Jackson provided the first points of the season for Arkansas with an 8-yard run in the first quarter. It would not take long before he got another chance to score, torching the UAPB defense from 46 yards out toward the end of the first quarter.
That second touchdown run was especially impressive, and Jackson was feeling it after he scored. He found the area of the end zone located near the UAPB cheerleading squad and decided to shoot his shot.
Jackson continued to smile from ear-to-ear while jogging back to the sideline, but it would be hard to feel bad after the kind of first half Arkansas put together.

Jackson rushed for 101 yards and 2 touchdowns while also catching 2 passes for 20 yards in the receiving game. The Razorbacks put together a flawless first half, hitting the locker room with a 49-0 lead to jumpstart the 2024 season.
We’ll see how the offense performs when the competition steps up, but it’s all aces in Week 1.
