While Arkansas’ 28-24 loss to Missouri was tough on the team, there was one notable individual upside: Razorbacks RB Rawleigh Williams III recorded 117 yards on the ground, bringing his season total to an SEC-leading 1,326 yards.
At No. 2 is LSU RB Derrius Guice, whose regular season ended Thursday night, with 1,249 yards for the year. That leaves Auburn RB Kamryn Pettway as next in line to chase Williams.
Pettway has only played in eight games, but has 1,106 yards on the season. The Auburn ball-carrier would need a monster Iron Bowl outing, 221 yards or more, to finish ahead of Williams.
The other 1,000-yard running backs behind Pettway with games Saturday:
- Stanley Boom Williams, Kentucky: 1,072 yards
- Ralph Webb, Vanderbilt: 1,058
- Benjamin Snell, Jr., Kentucky: 1,006
