Arkansas football’s social media team — with the help of Courage the Cowardly Dog — trolled Tennessee after a 19-14 upset victory at Razorback Stadium.
The Razorbacks improved to 4-2 on the season with their win over the Volunteers. Malachi Singleton scored from 11 yards out in the game’s final minute as Arkansas came back from 14-3 down to score the game’s final 16 points.
And it’s not the first time the Hogs have toppled the Volunteers at home during their history. Take 2006, when the 11th-ranked Razorbacks upset then-No. 13 Tennessee, 31-14. In 2011, the No. 8 Razorbacks routed the Vols 49-7. In 2020, the Vols left town with a 24-13 loss.
Fast forward to 2024, as the Razorbacks handed the Vols their first loss of the season. And the Arkansas social media team was on the mark after the game:

Arkansas has won 4 straight in the series and 5 of the last 6. The Hogs also won in Knoxville in 2015.
Tennessee was a 2-touchdown favorite in this year’s game. With just 14 points, it was only the seventh time in 44 games under Josh Heupel they’ve been held under 20 points.
The Razorbacks needed a response after a disappointing loss to Texas A&M in Week 5. Week 6, though, saw them finish the job, giving them a much-needed victory heading into an open week. After that, they welcome LSU to Fayetteville.
