The Razorbacks just can’t seem to shake the injury bug.
The latest incident involves running back T.J. Hammonds, who was injured during Thursday’s practice. The junior running back from Little Rock has quickly developed into a fan favorite for his explosiveness and versatility and his loss would be tough for the Razorbacks to deal with heading into the season.

Thankfully, it doesn’t appear that Hammonds was seriously injured on the play but it remains to be seen how significant the injury could be at this point. Last season, Hammonds rushed for 262 yards on only 32 carries — good enough for an 8.2 yards-per-carry average.
According to Tom Murphy of the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, Hammonds’ injury does not appear to be serious:
Arkansas RB T.J. Hammonds likely avoided a serious injury in a tackling period today. Hammonds needed help off the field but was getting left ankle/foot re-wrapped before ice was the option instead
