Arkansas snags 18th commitment for ’19, beats out two other SEC schools

A Phenix City, Ala., running back made a commitment to Arkansas on Monday as he paid tribute to his grandmother in his announcement video.
A’montae Spivey is a 6-foot-1, 205-pounder who is listed as a 3-star prospect by 247 Sports. Spivey had 15 offers, including several in the SEC, such as Missouri and LSU. Other offers included Purdue, Cincinnati and Florida Atlantic. He’s the No. 93-ranked running back in the 2019 class.
Spivey is the 18th known commitment for the Razorbacks for the 2019 class. The program was ranked 10th in the SEC and No. 21 in the country. Spivey is the only running back for Arkansas currently in this class.
Spivey last season rushed for 944 yards and 14 touchdowns.
