Former Florida DC to hire Arkansas State OC for same role at Maryland

Walt Bell is an up-and-coming offensive coordinator who is from SEC country, but he has once again eluded working inside the conference.
Bell, who currently serves as Arkansas State’s offensive coordinator, is reportedly going to be named to the same position on former Florida defensive coordinator D.J. Durkin’s staff at Maryland.
The 31-year-old Tennessee native played at Middle Tennessee, was a graduate assistant at Memphis and spent time on coaching staffs at Southern Miss and North Carolina before settling in with Arkansas State.
His offense ranked as one of the best in the country, in terms of yardage, with the Red Wolves this season.
