Arkansas transfer OL Joey Su’a has found a new home out west. Su’a announced Saturday on social media that he is continuing his career at Arizona State.

Su’a entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal on Wednesday. After 1 season with the Razorbacks he heads to Tempe to play Big 12 football.

A former Bentonville (Arkansas) standout, Su’a was part of the Hogs’ 2023 recruiting class. He was rated 3-stars, the No. 7 player in the state in Arkansas, No. 74 interior offensive lineman and No. 911 prospect overall nationally on the 247Sports Composite.

Su’a committed to Sam Pittman’s program on Sept. 29, 2021. He signed with Arkansas last year, choosing the Razorbacks over 8 other scholarship offers.

Su’a did not record any playing time in his season at Arkansas. He will have 4 remaining seasons of eligibility.

The Sun Devils went 3-9 in 2023, Kenny Dillingham’s first season as head coach. Dillingham has been active in the transfer portal as he works to reshape the ASU roster.
