Armondo Blount, top-5 prospect for 2025, names 5 finalists

Armondo Blount is over a year out from signing, but he’s already narrowing the focus of his recruitment. The 5-star defender from Florida is down to 5 teams after picking up 29 scholarship offers.
If Blount plays in the SEC, it will be for the Oklahoma Sooners. The elite lineman is also considering Florida State, Miami, Ohio State and USC.

Blount is listed as measuring 6-3 and 250 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, Blount is rated 5-stars, the No. 1 recruit in the state of Florida, No. 2 defensive lineman and No. 5 prospect overall in the Class of 2025.
Oklahoma entered the mix for Blount in May 2022. His other scholarship offers include Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee and Texas A&M.

Blount has not announced a commitment date, but every development in his recruitment is sure to be followed closely. Fans can get a preview of what he would bring to Norman by checking out his sophomore season highlights (below) at Dillard High School in Fort Lauderdale. He has since transferred to Miami Central.
