We are just past the midway point in the college football season, and the Associated Press has made its midseason All-America team.

The All-America first team includes a handful of SEC players.

Georgia tight end Brock Bowers made the list after what has been an outstanding season with 567 yards and 4 touchdowns. Unfortunately for Bowers, he’ll be sidelined for the next few weeks after undergoing ankle surgery.

LSU wide receiver Malik Nabers was included on the first team after recording 860 yards and 7 touchdowns. Nabers has emerged as one of the best wide receivers in the country this season.

Missouri wide receiver Luther Burden also made the list after his 808-yard, 5-touchdown season so far.

Alabama kicker Will Reichard, who has been 100% on both field goals and extra points this season, was also named to the first team.

Alabama edge rusher Dallas Turner was included on the first team after recording 29 tackles and 7 sacks so far.

Texas A&M linebacker Edgerrin Cooper was named to the first team after picking up 45 tackles and 6 sacks.

Alabama cornerback Kool-Aid McKinstry and Missouri’s Kris Abrams-Draine were both included on the first team in the cornerback spot. Georgia’s Malaki Starks and Auburn’s Jaylin Simpson rounded out the list at the safety spot.

There were several SEC players named to the second team as well. Here is the full list:

  • Jayden Daniels, QB, LSU
  • Ray Davis, RB, Kentucky
  • Javon Foster, OT, Missouri
  • Sedrick Van Pran, C, Georgia
  • Xavier Legette, WR, South Carolina
