Reshuffling the SEC? Auburn moving to the East? No more Iron Bowl? Michigan becoming the 15th team in the SEC? Black is white and white is black?
Check your calendar. These are the kind of conversations we get around this time of year. Spring practices are coming to an end, and there won’t be any football for a while. It’s the onset of nonsense that accompanies the summer.
CBS Sports’ Dan Wolken assured everyone that not only is Auburn not switching divisions, but no team will because the concept probably won’t even be broached when the SEC holds its annual meetings in Destin, Fla., on May 31.
And SEC associate commissioner Herb Vincent supported Wolken’s report.
Asked a bit around the SEC about Gus Malzahn’s comments to Chris Low on Auburn moving East. I doubt it will even come up in Destin.

The person who Malzahn said that to, ESPN’s Chris Low, also made it clear on Thursday that Malzahn was answering the question hypothetically in the scenario that the league did reshuffle its divisions (which won’t happen).
Just to be clear, @CoachGusMalzahn was in no way lobbying for a move to the East. He was asked about it hypothetically.
