One of Auburn’s emerging defensive standouts is set to make a move, as sophomore safety Kensley Louidor-Faustin announced he will hit the transfer portal when it opens Friday.
On3 reported Louidor-Faustin’s decision. Louidor-Faustin compiled 20 tackles (14 solo), 3 pass breakups, 3 tackles for loss, 1 interception and 1 sack for Auburn in 2025. As a freshman in 2024, Louidor-Faustin made 3 solo tackles and had a pass breakup.
Louidor-Faustin’s lone interception in 2025 came against Arkansas on Oct. 25, a pick he returned 11 yards in Auburn’s 33-24 loss.
Louidor-Faustin was a part of a robust defensive backs room heading into 2026, as junior safety Kaleb Harris is set to return along with DBs Champ Anthony, Sylvester Smith, Rayshawn Pleasant, Eric Winters and Newboy Fegans.
Auburn fired coach Hugh Freeze in midseason and replaced him with former USF coach Alex Golesh. Louidor-Faustin’s move to the portal now marks 26 Auburn players set to find new destinations – which includes fellow defensive backs Kayin Lee, Donovan Starr, Jay Crawford, A’mon Lane-Ganus and Raion Strader.
Auburn will be hoping to make it back to bowl eligibility in 2026.
