Auburn defensive lineman Enyce Sledge announced Monday night that he intends to enter the NCAA transfer portal once it opens on December 4.

Sledge was recruited by Bryan Harsin and thanked him for the opportunity to come to Auburn in 2022 over offers from Oklahoma State, Purdue and Baylor, to name a few. He also thanked Hugh Freeze for giving him the opportunity to stay at Auburn and compete for a role with the program.

Here’s his post announcing his move:

Sledge played just 11 snaps for the Tigers across his 2-year career. Because of this, he is able to use a redshirt season and will have 3 years of eligibility remaining.

It’s likely that Sledge will get a low Power 5 offer at some point during his time in the portal. He has experience in the day-to-day of the SEC and stands at 6-2, 311 pounds.
