Isaac Okoro had an outstanding freshman season for the Auburn Tigers, and coach Bruce Pearl would certainly love to have him back this year.

However, Pearl understands that players need to take advantage of their draft stock, and he’s been nothing but supportive of Okoro staying in the 2020 NBA Draft class.

On Monday, Okoro made the decision official, announcing he was keeping his name in the draft class:

He’ll be missed this fall, as J’Von McCormick, Austin Wiley and other top Tigers are moving on as well.

Okoro should be a top-10 pick in the draft though, perhaps even a top 5 pick, so he has to take advantage of this opportunity.
