Despite exceeding low expectations this year, many Auburn fans are not happy with coach Gus Malzahn after Monday night’s 35-19 loss to Oklahoma in the Sugar Bowl.
To be fair, Malzahn has plenty of support in Auburn nation, too, but the naysayers made their voices heard on Twitter following the Sugar Bowl loss.
Here’s what fans were saying about the embattled Tiger head coach:
I'll always love Auburn but if anyone still has faith in Gus Malzahn you haven't been watch the past 4 years or your ? IQ is extremely low?

Uh are we sure Gus Malzahn isn't getting fired tomorrow? Because Chip Kelly is available…

If I were a betting "person" I'd bet Gus Malzahn would find a pink slip in his in box tomorrow. (Please fire him!)

Gus Malzahn is about as good of a coach as Jeremy Johnson is a QB.

I'd fire Malzahn, but seems like jay Jacobs gonna gamble his job as well on new QB coming in.. ignoring team's demeanor in the process.Smdh

I love AU, but @jayjacobsauad MUST fire Malzahn. #OurCoachIsAJoke #FireGusMalzahn

Some fans would like to see recently fired San Francisco 49ers head coach Chip Kelly come in and take over for Malzahn:

Auburn finished the 2016 season with an 8-5 record and has most of its key contributors coming back in 2017.
Do you think the Tigers should part ways with their head coach this offseason?
