Auburn fans sound off on Gus Malzahn following LSU’s 20-point comeback

The Auburn Tigers came out of the gate on fire against LSU. Unfortunately, Auburn could not hold onto the lead.

Auburn started off on an incredible 20-0 run against LSU and looked unstoppable early on. RB Kerryon Johnson was gashing the LSU defense with cut after cut, and QB Jarrett Stidham threw a beautiful pass for a 49-yard touchdown.

The offense was working perfectly, but the LSU defense woke up. Looking for its first signature win under Ed Orgeron, the Tigers defense shut down Auburn after a lackluster start. Auburn scored 17 points in the first quarter but managed just six points the rest of the way. In fact, LSU’s defense shutout Auburn in the second half.

Blowing such a big lead in the loss has put Auburn head coach Gus Malzahn back on the hot seat. Fans wasted no time in calling out Malzahn on Twitter:
