Hicks’ early commitment, which comes less than two weeks since Auburn offered him on Feb. 18, stems from Auburn being his “dream school,” according to Keith Niebuhr of 247Sports. Hicks is the Tigers’ second commitment in the class, joining four-star, dual-threat QB Joey Gatewood.
Auburn is one of only a handful of schools to offer Hicks so far along with Miami, Kentucky and a few others.
