Auburn AD addresses internet rumors, status of football program on the radio

Don’t believe the internet has the power to impact higher-ups in college athletics?
Auburn athletics director Jay Jacobs was on Alabama radio staple “Opening Drive”, which is hosted by former Auburn K Al Del Greco and former Crimson Tide QB Jay Barker, on Tuesday morning.
The rumors floating around the internet that he may be stepping down or retiring were something he felt the need to address:

He also talked about the need for improvement from the football program:
