Alabama OL Arie Kouandjio, Auburn’s Gabe Wright picked consecutively on Day 3
SEC players are rapidly coming off the board on Day 3 of the NFL draft.
Alabama offensive lineman Arie Kouandjio and Auburn defensive lineman Gabe Wright became the league’s fourth and fifth selections of the fourth round on Saturday, selected Nos. 112 and 113 overall to the Washington Redskins and Detroit Lions, respectively.

The primary question concerning Kouandjio coming into the draft was chronic knee issues, but he checked out with the Redskins and Dan Snyder added a nice piece to his franchise’s offensive line.
Wright, a two-year starter in the trenches on the Plains, is a strong inside pass rusher. He is the Tigers’ second selection of Day 3 after Angelo Blackson went No. 100 overall to the Tennessee Titans.
