Auburn senior quarterback/receiver Jonathan Wallace surprised his girlfriend, former Tigers soccer player Ashley Kotero, by popping the question on the field at Jordan-Hare Stadium after attending Auburn’s team awards banquet in a story by AL.com.
Wallace let the university’s humungous new video board ask the question first. The words “Will you marry me?” were shown on the $13.9 million system before she turned back around to Wallace, who was on one knee. Kotero said yes.
According to AL.com, Jordan-Hare Stadium is a popular place to pop it. Back in October, equipment manager Clint Crampon proposed to girlfriend Emma Miller by using a play sign.
