Auburn holds at No. 6 in Coaches Poll, moves to No. 5 in AP Top 25

Coming off its first loss of the season to Mississippi State, Auburn had a bye week this week with South Carolina waiting in the wings next week.
On a day in which two top five teams lost, Auburn held its spot at No. 6 in both the Amway Coaches Poll and Associated Press Top 25.
In the Coaches Poll, the Tigers are 33 points behind No. 5 Michigan State. No. 7 Oregon, who beat Washington yesterday, sits behind the Tigers. In the AP poll, Auburn moved up one spot to No. 5. Cross-state rival Alabama jumped the Tigers to No. 4 after its blowout win over Texas A&M.
Auburn now welcomes unranked South Carolina to Jordan-Hare Stadium. The Gamecocks are coming off a win over FCS Furman on Saturday.
