The Auburn Tigers have to be thrilled after seeing how one of their commits performed on Friday night.
Alvin Henderson, a 4-star RB out of Elba High School, had a video game-like performance for his team. The RB took 40 carries for 435 yards and 10 TDs. Henderson set Alabama single-game state records for rushing TDs and points scored.
Despite this legendary performance, Henderson’s team somehow lost 80-78.

Henderson put up better numbers in one game than many backs put up in an entire season. After his team allowed 80 points, however, Henderson may need to start playing on both sides of the ball.
The talented RB is a 4-star prospect according to the 247Sports Composite ranking. Henderson is ranked as the No. 7 RB in Alabama, the No. 11 player out of Alabama, and the No. 125 prospect in the nation.
Henderson originally committed to Penn State back in April. The RB then visited the school in June, and shortly thereafter received a prediction to flip to Auburn. Sure enough, Henderson flipped to Auburn at the end of June.
The Tigers currently have the No. 5 recruiting class in the country for 2025. Henderson is one of 15 4-star commitments in the team’s class.
