Auburn released its first depth chart of the regular season on Tuesday.
Sal Cannella was listed as a starter at slot wide receiver. Cannella gets a chance to shine following ACL injuries to Eli Stove and Will Hastings. Cannella is listed at 6-foot-5 and 232 pounds, typically more suited as a tight end.
Nick Coe listed as a starter at Buck is a year removed from when he was a backup. But he also stood out in the spring game and was named Defensive MVP after he had two tackles for a loss, a sack and a safety.
On special teams, Aidan Marshall won the punting competition after a bit of a sub-par year in 2017, and JaTarvious “Boobee” Whitlow will start at kick returner.
Auburn is set to play Washington at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday in Atlanta on ABC.
