The Auburn Tigers have been extremely active in the transfer portal this January, with new head coach Alex Golesh bringing in talented players from across the country to fill in the vacant spots up and down his roster.
Golesh and his staff have spent a lot of time hammering out the defensive side of the ball, in particular, signing a number of immediate-impact pieces at all 3 levels who figure to be day 1 starters on the Plains.
The Tigers landed yet another productive defensive player from the portal on Monday in former Chattanooga defensive back Kamari Todd, who officially signed with the program.
An unranked recruit in the 2025 cycle, Todd joined the Mocs as a true freshman last season and played in all 12 games as a true freshman racking up 50 total tackles and 1 interception on the year.
His best performance of the season came in Week 6 against the Virginia Military Institute when he totaled 13 tackles, including 1 tackle for loss on the day, en route to being named TWSA Player of the Week.
Now, Todd will be heading up to the SEC, where he will be looking to carve out a role for himself in Golesh’s defense during 2026 and beyond.
