Auburn’s Coynis Miller Jr. says Chase Young couldn’t get 16 sacks in the SEC

Ohio State DE Chase Young missed 2 games with a suspension, but still managed to lead the FBS level with 16.5 sacks.

Now, he’s a Heisman finalist, but not everyone is sold on the sort of competition he faced in the Big Ten this year.

As you can see below, Auburn DL Coynis Miller Jr. took to Twitter this week to say he doesn’t think Young would have had 16 sacks int he SEC:

Ohio State CB Damon Arnette took issue with Miller’s tweet, calling him out in the response below:

Indeed, Miller has been at Auburn for 2 years and has yet to record his first sack. Perhaps he’ll work his way into a larger role next season, but that remains to be seen.

For now, he’s made some new enemies up in Buckeye country.
