The latest installment of the College Football Playoff rankings were released on Tuesday night.

Auburn dropped one spot to No. 15 following a lackluster 31-7 win over Samford on Saturday night.

The Tigers travel to Tuscaloosa to face No. 1 Alabama on Saturday night, with a chance to shake up the top 25 in a huge way, while also making a move to a possible New Year’s Six Bowl.

Auburn has been eliminated from any contention in the top four spots, but the Tigers play a huge role this week in the College Football Playoff Top 25.
