Way off the mark: Bahamas Bowl field goal attempt missed so wide, TV camera unable to track it

Let’s hope this game doesn’t come down to a kick.
If you missed the start of the 2019 Bahamas Bowl, you missed one of the worst field goal attempts of the season.
In fairness to Charlotte kicker Jonathan Cruz, the wind is blowing very hard on the field at the moment and it’s hard to believe that didn’t play a factor in this attempt. However, it’s pretty rare that the TV cameras on the field are unable to track a field goal attempt but that’s what happened during the first half of this game.
