The Bahamas will not be held at its usual location in the Bahamas, according to a report.
That’s per college football insider Brett McMurphy, who notes that this is the second time in three years that this game will be played outside of the Bahamas. Two years ago, the Bahamas Bowl was moved to Charlotte due to a scheduling conflict with Thomas Robinson Stadium in the Bahamas.
McMurphy’s report also says a replacement location for the 2025 Bahamas Bowl has not yet been determined.

The Bahamas Bowl has been played annually since 2014. In 2023 when the game was played in Charlotte, it was known as the Famous Toastery Bowl. It’s possible a name change will also be in order for the 2025 Bahamas Bowl, but those details are not yet available. It’s not clear why the Bahamas Bowl will be moved in 2025.
Historically, the Bahamas Bowl has been contested by teams representing the MAC and Conference-USA. Last year, Buffalo defeated Liberty 26-7 to capture the Bahamas Bowl title.
The game is tentatively scheduled for December 2025, although final details are still to be determined.
