An NFL record previously held by Peyton Manning and Russell Wilson has been broken by Baker Mayfield.

By throwing three touchdown passes Sunday in the Cleveland Browns-Baltimore Ravens game, Mayfield increased his rookie season passing touchdown total to 27. Two former SEC wide receivers, Jarvis Landry (No. 25) and Antonio Callaway (No. 27) caught two of three scores.

Manning, a Hall of Famer, threw for 26 with the Indianapolis Colts in 1998. Russell Wilson tied that record with the Seattle Seahawks in 2012.
