Tim Williams’ time in Baltimore is over as the Ravens announced they have waived the former Alabama pass rusher on Tuesday.
The third-year pro had yet to register a sack for the Ravens this season and had only two during his time in Baltimore. In 19 career appearances, Williams finished his Raven career with only 13 total tackles and two sacks.
In the team’s latest game, Williams saw the field for only seven snaps.
During his playing career in Tuscaloosa, Williams had 57 total tackles, 20 sacks and 30 tackles for loss. Considering most of that production came in two seasons, he was a real force off the edge in Nick Saban’s defense back in 2015 and 2016.
Williams was a third-round selection in the 2017 NFL Draft by the club.
