Barry Odom’s defense struggled against Mizzou’s offense in the first half of the Battle Line Rivalry. Arkansas leads Mizzou at halftime 21-20.

However, Missouri’s 20 first-half points are more than it has averaged in 7 SEC games this season. In fact, the 20 points is more than the Tigers scored in 4 SEC games this year.

The Tigers offense recorded 292 yards, with 139 of them being on the ground in the first half. Quarterback Brady Cook completed 8-of-13 passes for 153 yards; however, his biggest damage has come in the running game. The Tigers signal caller rushed for 125 yards and 1 touchdown in the first half.

Odom, the former Missouri head coach and star defender, caught some criticism by fans due to his defense’s first half performance.
