A controversial pass interference call against Missouri led to Kentucky getting an untimed down and scoring a game-winning touchdown this past Saturday.
Although the call went against Tigers cornerback DeMarkus Acy, coach Barry Odom was satisfied with what Acy did on the play.
“I would not change one thing in how [his technique] was taught, and how it was executed,” Odom said during his press conference on Tuesday.
Odom said that the team has turned the play into the SEC office, but he hasn’t yet received any feedback.
For most of the day on Saturday, it appeared that Missouri was close to pulling off an upset win over Kentucky. However, the Wildcats scored 12 points in the fourth quarter, including the touchdown on the final play after the pass interference call.
The Tigers will look to bounce back from the loss when they travel to Florida on Saturday to take on the No. 13 Gators. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. ET.
