Ben Christman was a 4-star recruit in the class of 2021 out of Ohio. He stayed home for college, committing to Ohio State.
But this offseason, he decided to test his options in the NCAA transfer portal after playing just 9 snaps for the Buckeyes in 2 seasons with the program.
On Sunday, he revealed that he’d found a new home for the 2023 season, tweeting out that he was committing to Mark Stoops and the Kentucky Wildcats:

Christman was a redshirt player in 2021 as a true freshman. He’ll have 3 years of eligibility remaining starting this fall.
Christman was a 4-star recruit during the 2021 cycle, ranking as the No. 7 interior offensive lineman and the No. 6 overall recruit from the state of Ohio, per the 247Sports composite rankings.
Teams like Georgia, Alabama, LSU and Notre Dame, among others, were also interested in Christman coming out of high school before he ultimately signed with Ohio State.
