Sept. 22, 2018 might be a night Kentucky RB Benny Snell remembers for a long time.

Facing No. 14 Mississippi State, Snell has come up big in the Wildcats’ upset bid, scoring three touchdowns. The third TD not only gave UK a 21-7 lead, it also put Snell ahead of Kentucky great Randall Cobb for the school record for career touchdowns.

Cobb, currently with the Green Bay Packers, lined up at multiple positions (QB, RB and WR) during a three-year career at Kentucky (2008-10) in which he notched 37 touchdowns. He made it clear on social media that was cheering along Snell’s effort to break the record.

Snell has scored a fourth touchdown as Kentucky now leads MSU 28-7 with 3:33 left.
