Best title odds for 2016 CFB Playoff goes to the reigning national champ
Westgate Las Vegas Superbook, one of the largest in the world, released its title odds for the 2016 College Football Playoff on Monday morning, and you can probably take a wild guess on which team holds the best chance to win the championship.
Reigning national champion Alabama was dubbed the odds-on favorite to win this upcoming season’s title game, as the sportsbook gave the Tide 6-1 odds. That comes despite the loss of quarterback Jacob Coker, offensive linemen Ryan Kelly and Dominick Johnson, Heisman-winning running back Derrick Henry, and a slew of stud defensive players.
.@LVSuperBook title odds: Bama 6-1; Mich 7-1; Clem/OU/OhSt 8-1; FSU 12-1; Bay/LSU/ND/Tenn 15-1; Aub/UGA/MichSt/OleMiss/Stan/UCLA 30-1

LSU and Tennessee are the two teams closest behind Alabama, but are only given 15-1 odds to win it all in ’16. Auburn, Georgia, and Ole Miss all enter the month of June with 30-1 odds.
Another title, of course, would give Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban his fifth with the program (sixth overall) — all coming since the 2009 season.
