Who are the best two teams in the East? Dan Mullen’s answer may surprise you

Dan Mullen gave his take on the state of the SEC East earlier this week.
Mullen, who will lead Mississippi State into Sanford Stadium to face Georgia in a battle of 3-0 teams Saturday, said Monday that he believes the class of the other division both happen to reside on his team’s slate.

After taking on Georgia this weekend, Kentucky looms Oct. 21. That contest will be a home game for the Bulldogs, with kickoff time yet to be announced.
By then, we may have a better idea whether Mullen’s prediction about the SEC East was spot-on or simply a coach trying to talk up the strength of his upcoming opponents.
