Bevo shows up to College GameDay, charges cameraman and knocks hat off handler

Bevo is one of college football’s most recognizable mascots. So, it’s only natural that College GameDay would feature the steer to open Saturday’s show.
Last week, UGA’s Uga was prominently featured, as Luke Bryan planted a kiss on the dog to close the show.
However, unlike Uga, feisty Bevo showed up to College GameDay. While the Texas Silver Spurs, the official name of Bevo’s handlers, walked the beast down to his pen, the mascot had to be held back multiple times as he put his head down and appeared to have some ill intentions for ESPN’s cameraman.
That wasn’t all either. Bevo swung his massive longhorns around and knocked the hat off of one of the handlers that could have really done some damage had he solidly connected.
College GameDay analyst Pat McAfee shared the video of Bevo’s entrance.

McAfee then proceeded to call Bevo a “cow,” which frustrated some Texas fans who were quick to correct him on social media.
