Big 12 media’s 2019 preseason poll released

The picks are in from the Big 12 and the league’s media is picking Oklahoma to win its fifth consecutive league title in 2019.

The Sooner won the vote by a wide margin when it comes to first-place votes, OU got 68 to Texas’ nine, but the overall voting was close between the two teams atop the preseason poll.

The SEC has a few regular season games scheduled against the Big 12 including LSU’s Week 2 trip to Texas, Missouri hosting West Virginia that same week, and Kansas State making the trip to Mississippi State Week 3 of the season.

Jalen Hurts was voted Big 12 Newcomer of the Year but the honor for All-Big 12 Preseason QB went to Texas signal-caller Sam Ehlinger.
