The picks are in from the Big 12 and the league’s media is picking Oklahoma to win its fifth consecutive league title in 2019.

The Sooner won the vote by a wide margin when it comes to first-place votes, OU got 68 to Texas’ nine, but the overall voting was close between the two teams atop the preseason poll.

The SEC has a few regular season games scheduled against the Big 12 including LSU’s Week 2 trip to Texas, Missouri hosting West Virginia that same week, and Kansas State making the trip to Mississippi State Week 3 of the season.

Jalen Hurts was voted Big 12 Newcomer of the Year but the honor for All-Big 12 Preseason QB went to Texas signal-caller Sam Ehlinger.
