The Billy Napier era at Florida got off to an exciting start Saturday night, as the Gators rallied in the fourth quarter to defeat No. 7 Utah, 29-26.
Anthony Richardson’s 1-yard TD run with 1:25 to play in the game put Florida ahead and it was able to hold on from there, sending the home crowd at The Swamp into a frenzy.
While it was Richardson who was the hero on the field, accounting for 274 total yards and three touchdowns, after the game it was Napier who was awarded the game ball by UF athletic director Scott Stricklin.
A memorable first win in Gainesville for Napier to say the least.
One to remember!
