New Florida coach Billy Napier is making staff decisions quickly since being hired by the Gators.

On Sunday, it was reported that he would bring Patrick Toney and Jabbar Juluke to Gainesville from his staff at Louisiana.

Another decision was made public Monday, as GatorsOnline broke the news that cornerbacks coach Jules Montinar would not be retained.

Montinar had just completed his 1st season at Florida, having come to the Gators after 1 season at South Florida.

He was also previously a quality control assistant at Georgia and had spent 2 years as a graduate assistant at Alabama.

Napier was introduced as Florida’s head coach Sunday after compiling a 40-12 mark in 4 seasons at Louisiana.
