Blake Baker will be on the move again after one season at LSU. Baker, who joined the Tigers’ staff as linebackers coach ahead of the 2021 season, said his farewell Saturday as he was not retained by new LSU head coach Brian Kelly.

Baker, 39, has been in coaching since 2009, getting his start at Clear Springs High School in Texas coaching wide receivers. He moved up to the college ranks in 2010 as a grad assistant at Texas through 2012.

Baker was Miami’s defensive coordinator for 2 seasons (2019-20) before making the move to LSU. His other stops include Arkansas State (2013) and Louisiana Tech (2014-18).
