The NBA announced this week that the 2020 NBA Draft has been pushed back to Oct. 15, allowing the rest of the 2019-20 regular season to finish.
Now that there is a firm date in place, teams will get back to work on their draft preparations.
On Saturday, Bleacher Report’s Jake Rill released his latest Round 1 mock draft, and as you can see below, he expects 5 SEC stars to go in the first 30 picks:
- No. 1 — Anthony Edwards, G, Georgia — Golden State Warriors
- No. 9 — Isaac Okoro, F, Auburn — Washington Wizards
- No. 12 — Tyrese Maxey, G, Kentucky — Sacramento Kings
- No. 24 — Aaron Nesmith, F, Vanderbilt — Utah Jazz
- No. 29 — Kira Lewis Jr., G, Alabama — Los Angeles Lakers
How will these projections change as we find out the lottery order and go through the NBA Combine? We’ll find out soon enough.
