Boston College trolls Mizzou, Eli Drinkwitz on Twitter following win over Tigers

Boston College beat Missouri in overtime on Saturday in Boston, clinching a 41-34 victory by picking off Connor Bazelak’s first pass in overtime.

The Eagles were feeling good after the win, particularly after some comments Mizzou coach Eli Drinkwitz made about not wanting to play in Massachusetts earlier in the week.

As you can see below, the Eagles’ social media team wasn’t quite ready to let Drinkwitz forget about his comment about Mizzou not recruiting “the great state of Massachusetts” just yet:

Boston College coach Jeff Hafley also had some snark for Drinkwitz, setting the record straight about Massachusetts being a “commonwealth”:

Well, let’s just say it might be a long, long time before the Tigers head back to Boston again.
