Nick Saban’s squad got to hear from a heavyweight champ on Thursday.

Mike Tyson spoke to the Alabama football team ahead of a fall camp practice. Tyson will reportedly also chat with Crimson Tide linebacker Dylan Moses, defensive lineman Raekwon Davis and tight end Miller Forristall for an upcoming episode of “Bama Cuts.” The barbershop video series is back for another season in 2019.

The legendary boxer isn’t the first successful professional athlete to address the team. Charlie Potter of Bama OnLine notes that Saban has previously brought in Kobe Bryant and even Auburn alum Charles Barkley to speak to the football team. Tyson’s famous quote, “Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth,” is a favorite among coaches and athletes alike.

Perhaps we’ll learn what he told the 2019 team by watching “Bama Cuts.”

This post has been updated to include Alabama’s tweet.
